I’m just now realizing that while I was visiting my folks back home I missed my chance to bring back my copies of Trickster’s Choice and Trickster’s Queen. Which you think after debating about buying new copies for almost two years I would have remembered to grab them.

Wrong.

So unless I have them shipped to me or I just break down and buy new copies, I’m back to playing the waiting game.

Finished “the witch doesn’t burn in this one” by Amanda Lovelace, my first book of 2018. It seems pretty late since it’s almost May but after being in a reading rut for several months, reading any book all the way through feels amazing. Do you ever remember bits and pieces of a story you read when you were younger but can’t think of the name? And the parts you do remember are so vague that it could describe any other story on the market?

I suddenly remembered reading a book about two girls. One had just moved to this new town and slowly started hanging out at the beach with a peculiar girl. There may have been a lighthouse as well?

I’m sure I’ll stumble upon the title with some research, it’s just these moments hit during the strangest time and I am left wondering what part of my activity triggered the memory.

Just watched Annihilation and of course it’s based on a book. I don’t find out about these things until the credits roll.
